She is currently completing a Vocational Bachelor / Higher Degree in Visual Communication (Photography), following her dual training at CEPV in Vevey. This foundation has given her both technical precision and the freedom to pursue the subjects that resonate most deeply with her.

Born and raised in Switzerland, with Bulgarian roots on her mother’s side and Franco-Swiss heritage on her father’s, her identity is shaped by multiple cultural influences. After undergoing extensive surgeries on her left knee, she was forced to pause her athletic practice. She chose to spend this time in the mountains, turning recovery into a form of retreat — a moment to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what truly drives her creative work.

Following this long period away from sport, she returned to higher education with renewed clarity and determination, choosing to fully commit to the development of her photographic practice.

Her work is closely tied to natural landscapes, their textures, and their quiet transformations. She is particularly attentive to erosion, materiality, and the subtle traces of time. Her work values become central to her visual language, allowing her to focus on form, contrast, and atmosphere.

Earlier in her path, she completed a VET diploma in photography and spent a season competing in downhill skateboard racing. She later worked for more than three years in a sports store — experiences that continue to inform her sensitivity to movement, physical engagement, and endurance.
